DARLING PARK

Public BBQ

A well-maintained sports reserve at Malvern East built around a good oval, with a second oval alongside that sees plenty of soccer. The public amenities are high quality. The playground is showing its age but is safe and well kept, and there is a community garden that locals are fond of. A cycling path runs beside the oval, so take extra care if you let a dog off lead. A drinking fountain sits by the bike path with a dog bowl beneath it and a tap for filling bottles, though the fountain is unpredictable in both direction and force. Freeway noise carries, and parking is tighter than most would like.
